Free cost per click (CPC) calculator
Check average cost per click from ad spend and a compatible click count, without uploading account data.
Try your own numbers.
The starting values are illustrative. Replace them with compatible numbers from your report.
Calculate the average cost of a recorded click using one currency and a consistent click definition. This is a useful report check, but a cheap click is not automatically a useful visit. Review the subsequent outcome separately.
Work through it, step by step.
Enter spend in ordinary currency units. Convert API fields in micros before using them here, and do not combine different currencies.
Enter the corresponding click count for the same period and campaign scope. Use the same click type when comparing two results.
Read the average with the spend and click totals. Investigate meaningful changes in audience, auction context or delivery rather than judging the campaign from CPC alone.
Make it concrete.
A campaign spends 600 currency units for 300 clicks, giving a CPC of 2. Another with a CPC of 1 may still cost more per useful outcome.
What to keep in mind.
Zero clicks makes this ratio undefined, even if spend is also zero. The tool reports an input issue rather than inventing a free-click result.
Your next useful step.
Use the campaign and search-terms guides to inspect the traffic behind a cost movement. Keep conversion quality and outcome maturity in the review.
Working with this in Liftaven
Calculations run locally in your browser. These tools do not connect accounts or send your inputs to Liftaven. Use numbers from the same reporting period and keep currencies consistent. A calculated ratio describes your inputs; it does not establish the cause of a change.
